Tonight’s Pour It Now Meeting

Tonight’s meeting was jam packed with important news and updates. Progress is being made on all fronts of Pour It Now’s Charleston Plan. The Divide and Conquer strategy seems to be very effective! First off, The City of Charleston department of Parks is in full support of creating a number of “pocket parks” or skate spots throughout the City. This will begin immediately, so skaters look for some spots to be built and ready to shred in the near future!!! The Ackerman Community Build Project will also be getting underway pending the Final City approval. We will be asking for lots of community involvement, be ready to get your hands dirty! Daniel Island wants a skatepark? Look for Pour It Now to get involved as the details unravel. And last, but certainly not least, The Charleston County Parks and Recreation Commission is finalizing the location and logistics for the “Big One!”
